Practical Programming

25 05 2017

So here’s the thing. I’ve been coding in various different languages for almost a quarter century. And I’m nowhere near as good as I should be. I’ve never studied coding so I never really took the time to abstract what I was doing. I needed the damn thing to work. That’s all. That’s the time I could justify working on a thing. “Does it work?”, “Well yeah, but I need to….” “Ship it, next!”

Now I’m trying to be less practical and more theoretical. It’s the wrong way around I know so bear with me.
